Gee, Peg, gratuitous comments like that make me wonder about your sanity. What is with you people in the media? You're just like Obama, except that he signals the lies and obfuscation with phrases like "let me be clear" while pretend journalists like you come up with stupidity like the above.

What has been lost is so vivid, what has been gained so amorphous, blurry and likely illusory.

What has been gained is the education of the voting public on the inner workings of the government. What has historically been done and ignored by a contentedly occupied public is now on the frontal lobe of the voting publics consciousness. Whatever happens over the weekend will be corrected by the upcoming elections.
