>>" Great numbers of people make a living as various regulators, etc. - and there are armies of employees whose responsibility it is to comply with massive regulations on several levels. "<<

Do you want to spell out some of these "massive regulations" and where are all these armies of regulators and armies of people who are responsible for complying with these massive number of regulations or is this just more BS from someone who keeps spreading the nonsense that "tort reform" is the big problem?

Once again you are well organized.

Things that could save healthcare costs:
1) Labor
a) Upgrade the medical work done at each level of pay.
b) Decrease the number of paid doctors.
c) Bureaucracy - limit or eliminate much of it. Certainly slow the rate of growth.
2) Capital costs
a) Prohibit construction of expensive new medial sites.
b) Limit the purchase of medical equipment.
3) Variable Costs
a) Limit payments for pharmaceuticals.
b) Limit payments for medical devices.
4) Eliminate Balkinization of health insurance.
5) Tort reform.
6) Allow people to buy exactly the coverage they want, need and can afford.

Obama/PelosiTax proposals will likely result in 1b, 2a, 2b, 3a and 3b.

IMHO The most effective would be 1c, 4, 5 and 6.

The Long March toward socialism continues. Obama/PelosiTax will shorten it.
