Yes, I can get DSL, but it costs more and has lower speeds than TWC. TWC is the best I can get. I have Road Runner Turbo and I get 8 Mbps download and 488K upload for $55 per month, after taxes and fees. That's a travesty. My brother gets FiOS, which gives him something like 20-30 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload for $40-45. I feel raped on what I pay to get what I get.

It's all because of lack of competition. If Verizon was out here or AT&T U-Verse, then TWC would either cut costs or increase bandwidth. Competition forces consumer benefits. Lack of it does the reverse.
