She was caught up in what a lot of moderate liberals were caught up in. They basically thought his race was more important than his policies, ideology or belief system. So they willfully ignored all the signs and cloistered in Obamatron group think media rooms, wistfully bantering about silly cliché’s like "Hope and Change". The bottom line is they were poor judges of character. I laugh in disbelief when I re-read some of the high minded stances about the deficit during the Bush years from those who support Obama. Now, those same people on SI and in the media have no problem with the deficit surging to the stratosphere, with Obama and the Democratic party in complete control of the budget. I almost feel sorry that some people have linked their intellectual beliefs with a Hugo Chavez wannabe. Some may still not believe this, but if it were politically possible, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Biden and other Democrats would enact every single one of Hugo Chavez's policies. That's how radically far left they truly are. The only thing standing in their way is the American people.
