The best thing to do is cancel medical insurance. People don't buy food insurance. They buy food. They could do the same for medical treatment

I like the idea of insuring against major expensive events - in other words, I like plans with a high deductible, preferably coupled with a Med savings account. Wouldn't you guess? those are precisely the things which are to be outlawed in our "reform" (at least, the way I read it).

...agree about the Iran situation. What used to be called free world has no influence over them presently, when they are poor, weak and politically unstable. Just imagine the leverage they'll have once they are nuclear - and no longer to be dissed. No one will be able to tell them that they have no right to transfer nuclear technology to any other party whom they'll happen to like.

In the meantime, back at the big ranch in DC, our leaders are bickering over healthcare.... which ain't nearly as bad down in these parts as they'd like you to believe. Needs adjustments, but not as an earth shattering emergency.
