Hi Dan, >>You missed my point entirely.

Sorry. I don't think the world of financial assets is black and white. For example, my grandfather was a sod buster in North Dakota and accummulated a fair amount of land when it was cheap during the 30's. Now this asset as been used by the family as a vehicle to generate income. Assets like emerging companies like Microsoft back in the mid 1980's an investor wants the company to plow the revenues back in the company to become the leader in the industry. When the industry matures and the company is secure as a leader, then it may be reasonable to change the sharing of wealth. It is my opinion at this point in time the technology is still in flux and it is important for Microsoft, Intel, Cisco and others to insure they maintain the leadership in their markets. If they let someone else become leaders they are dead meat.

What the heck do I know, nothing.
