Let's see how these figures stack up against the "Dearly Beloved" in it's final gasps of breath....

Strictly as a Financial Comparison 1YR as of December 31, 2009 (ttm) vs. GSTRF December 31,2001
Globalstar Inc. (GSAT) vs Globaltar Telecommunications (GSTRF) (DB)

Interest expenses
GSAT - 6.73 million
GSTRF - 381.1 milion

Debt /Preferred Stock Obligations
GSAT - .465 Billion
GSTRF - 3.375 Billion

Revenues
GSAT - 50.22 million
GSTRF - 6.2 million

Operating Loss
GSAT - 53.8 million
GSTRF - 198.8 million

Maurice claims the only problem was.. Was that the price of service was too high.

Personally, I think it had more to do with the 3.3 Billion in debt and the 381 million in annual Interest Expenses.. Interest accrued at over 1 Million Dollars A DAY in comparison to GSAT accruing interest at slightly over $18,000 per day.
