Thanks, KLP, for the links to prior posts on this topic. What I should have said is that I’m surprised there is not more outrage here with respect to the breaching of the conceptual wall that has always existed between employment income and investment income (including the pseudo capital gains generated by inflation). As noted in the link in #msg-26400177, this is the feature of the proposed Medicare tax that makes it a frightening precedent. Regards, Dew
