Half out of Medicare.

In ways even the republicans have been advocating for years...in truth they have been advocating for a dismantling of Medicare...hell Paul Ryan (R) would convert it all to a voucher system that would really screw future beneficiaries. There are some serious crocodile tears being shed here by the GOP and opponents.

I don't know how much of that concern is Medicare, itself. The concern is the deficit/debt. If Medicare is projected to collapse and you take half a trillion of potential cost savings out of Medicare to pay for Reform, then you're either going to have to let Medicare collapse, which is politically possible, find the money to save it somewhere else, which would likely be to raise taxes, or just put it on the credit card.

The CBO has projected that the legislation extends Medicare solvency by 9 years...and there are not just cuts, there are new levies on individuals making >200K and families making >250K?

Why do you guys feel to need to distort so much? What's in it for you?
