I support it because I want to see us cover the uninsured. The process and the actual outcome are red-headed stepchildren at best, but it's much better than the inaction on this topic for the last century. I understand why half the country doesn't like the bill much now. But they didn't win the last election, the folks who promised to deliver healthcare did.

The opposition was entrenched and had deep pockets. More than 80% of people have insurance of one kind or another. I thought for sure they would be opposed to rocking the boat and see taxes going up to pay for hc insurance for some undeserving soul. I am glad I am wrong. I think we can thank the Catholic Nuns for pushing this over the top. But more seriously, I think Obama deserve a lot of credit. I was beginning to lose confidence in him and when Kansas lost, my God, I started to freak out.
