I wrote them too and lodged a complaint of sorts. I doubt they'll verify the charge of racism, but at least I tried.

Listening to the top of the hour news Saturday evening, I heard the announcer state that several tea party attendees at a rally outside the halls of congress shouted racial epithets as some members of the congressional black caucus walked through the crowd. I have searched the Internet high and low, have watched dozens of videos of that event, and not once did I ever hear a racial epithet spoken. I would recommend NPR vet their source further and provide proof one way or another that this in fact happened. Saying so on an hourly news spot does not make is so. Verifying the facts of this charge would go a long way towards protecting your reputation as a responsible and reliable news source. Sincerely
