Americans stopped trusting our government to work with private industry and academia to help move this country forward.

Government's gotten bigger and bigger even if you restrain the issue to just dealings with private industry and academia.

If somewhere along the way we've run in to problems, its not problems with losing, or limiting, or restricting, such involvement.
