Mark,

You have misread something. DCI does not lose the ability to do business in the UK. It loses the ability to sell prepaid phone cards at all WH Smith outlets and licences, only in the UK. Also this does not have any effect on the rest of Europe where DCI has been working on programs in the rest of the EC. DCI also has DCI UK a long distance carrier based in London that is moving ahead with it's plans at full speed. The selling of this contract is very good not bad. As for the price of SMTK, they will continue to show negative earnings as long as they are on the merger and acquisition trail ala Worldcom($32). They are a strong company with exceptional potential<JMO>.

LONG AND STRONG!!! GO DCTC!!!!

Bruce

Mark,

400,000 X $10 still is 4M + 1M in cash. $5M is still a huge increase over $1.5M and that is assuming the worst. It is not as nice as $9M in cash but still an awesome move and DCTC needed the cash. The current ratio will be very impressive and any investor should love that. I haven't been in DCTC long enough to know the entire history but I think this is a great move and a good deal. If we could all make that return on our investment in 6 months, I believe we would all be pleased. Hence even worse case it looks great.

I also am not that impressed with SMKT but even if the price goes to 1/2 what it is today, still a great deal for DCTC and on the reverse SMKT might go up instead. We can't know for sure one way or another and as we all know the market is somewhat emotional more so then balance sheets and facts and SMKT may do better then is apparent to you or me.
