I am disappointed at the delays too. I read somewhere that there will be an immediate high-risk insurance pool for those with preexisting conditions. Don't know exactly how it will work, however.

I imagine all the major media will have stories out this week on what this means tomorrow, next year, by 2014, etc. In the meantime do a news search on "high risk pools" and see what you get.

I want it but am disappointed it does not do away with preexisting condition for us older folks until 2014. Is that correct?

That can be moved up between now and then.
