"I'm fine with China buying more US made goods." Yeah, but U.S. CEO's aren't. They want slave labor, to increase their profits....so they can cash in on more stock options....all at the expense of the American worker. The more Americans they lay off, the more they can line their greedy pockets. It's all about greed. They'll have to lay off millions more Americans to get their stock prices higher, IMO. I think they'll try to do it too.
I saw a report not long ago, where CEO's have plans to lay off another 25% of their workers.
The system is gone, it's broken....it's all about slave labor and greed now.
The CEO's and wall street also want a trashed dollar, so IBM, multi-nationals, and tech companies can profit from some favorable exchange rates on exports....all at the expense (again) of the American worker. Trashing the dollar is like giving Americans a pay cut. If the dollar gets chopped in half....Americans are basically working for half pay....granted, most of them won't be able to figure out what's going on because the numbers on their paycheck won't change....they'll just know they're going broke and paying high prices for commodities.....just like when oil hit $147 after ben trashed the dollar.
