It is indeed. The internet can make "adults" behave strangely, can't it? When you turn this around, and imagine someone in 3d running in to their neighbor's living room to do stuff like that, you realize just how weird and aberrant it is.

Heck, even if you imagine doing it in a public space it's odd. Who goes around in 3d trying to get in other folks' faces by intentionally going places to provoke people? I'll tell you who- crazy people, drunks and a**holes.

I try not to watch anymore. I find I am embarrassed for the folks who can't grow up. When the internet was a novelty, and we were all trying it out, it made sense to get in to the drama of it all for a few years- but that really ought to get old. If it doesn't, there's something odd about a person, imo. I studiously avoid people who are in to drama, and who think they are "doing something" by screaming at people they don't like on a website- and anonymously, at that. That's just a bridge too far on the old weirdometer for me.
