Knighty, again, the numbers weren't faked, they were cherry picked. the total debt increase every year under clinton. period. it is a fact. the amount of money borrowed from the public ran at a small surplus, but if a company pretended that their version of inter-governmental debt didn't count, someone would go to jail. unless we are talking about the connected major wall street banks or their corporate interests. they can commit accounting and securities fraud all they want with no threat of punishment. as for bush, i don't understand why he isn't in jail for his crimes against humanity. ah, obama doesn't want to "look back," so i know who to blame for not holding bush accountable - the guy you helped elect. ;-) neener, neener, neener - my guilt doesn't matter because the republicans were more guilty. neener, neener, neener! ok, ya got me there - that argument is so intellectually solid, not even i can argue it. ;-) ps - how does $23.7 trillion to back stop fraudulent and criminal banks fit in with "progressive?"
