So? Someone makes a dumb statement. That doesn't support your accusation.

With the actual vote, what did you find unconscionable? Other than the fact your side got their butt kicked.

Economist Says Economy On The Upswing

Las Vegas' economy has bottomed out from the recession, but full recovery may take some time. That's the finding of the annual Las Vegas Perspective book that provides data on Southern Nevada. Economists say consumers are starting to feel better about their jobs, and are now buying big ticket items such as cars and appliances is on the rise. But Federal Reserve senior economist Raymond Owens say it will be "some time down the road" before consumers begin spending on entertainment, such as a trip to Las Vegas. Mayor Oscar Goodman says the city will need several components to be considered a world-class city, including medical facilities, culture centers, and a major league sports team. He says if Sin City builds a major sports arena, there's a good chance a pro basketball team will come to Vegas.
