Disagree, Josh. Bush, without the help of Democrats, tried to do the best we could to rid the world of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda training grounds....SO if we withdraw, and let the weeds grow again...then what? More and more 9-11's???? Or worse???

No. At best, we can only hope to prevent the region from descending into total chaos. If we depart, is Al-Qaida reconstituted? Do we make that bet? Without a reduction in the level of violence and an unshakeable will to prevail, the situation is untenable. Obama will bail.
