I was think basically the same thing, the biggest holdings would be pension and mutual funds. Although all a part of the "our" money equation, we can't sway that dog. So individual holders wouldn't amount to anything, probably a small fraction of any one equities daily trading volume.

As it is I think Obama can be beaten in 2012, but if an amnesty bill went through it would be much harder for the GOP.
