I am just making the point that the idea that this bill is going to save $138 billion during the next 10 years is a fantasy. Yes that really irks me as well. I'm all for a constitutional amendment that make it illegal for Congress to defer the impact of any taxation provision in legislation by more than 1 year. That goes for Tax Cuts that expire in the future and Taxes imposed in the future. Pretty soon everything will be paid for by raising taxes eight or more years in the future.
