You understate the fiscal damage caused by people not having insurance I didn't over or understate it. I didn't state it at all. Primarily because at least a fiscal issue, it isn't in the same league as this bill. have successfully implemented universal health care. You define success as what you want to get. If its not universal (in whatever way you choose to define that word) its not success to you. Their success is not nearly as great as you make it out to be. How can any thoughtful, caring, reasonable American allow such conspicious and narrow entitlement go unimpeded? That statement doesn't make any sense. Having the government support health care is about entitlement, both in the technical sense that its an entitlement program, and in the more general sense that its about telling people they are legally entitled to government support and having them come to expect that. Opposition to that has nothing to do with entitlement.
