More bad news. I just saw on Yahoo that the earnings estimates for Oakt have been lowered AGAIN for 1998 and 1999. The original estimates for 1998 were $.75, $.68 and now $.62.

For 1999 they started at $.98 and have moved donw now to $.90.

It is no wonder the stock price keeps moving downward. It is becoming more and more evident to me that there is a lack of confidence in this company.

They may have some products that will sell well. However, even if Oak does hit the $.62 earnings estimate, you are only looking at a $14.25 stock price this year and $20 in 1999(based on a 23 PE).

For a company who's stock was trading at $30 eighteen months ago. I am not sure this is the best risk to take for the reward you are going to get.

Am I missing something here? If so, I would like to know.
