Well, what do you think insurance costs these days? This is for a family of four. I know individuals in good health who are paying a thousand dollars a month or more. This is for a family with children.

That said--I agree with you. Something is wrong with a medical system (including insurance as part of that) that costs so much.

Imagine what an extra $11.5k a year would mean to her quality of life if she didn't have to spend it on insurance.<<

Imagine what one car accident or major illness would mean to her whole family's quality of life if she didn't have insurance.
