I had a friend in school who's father had a large factory. I think it was for inheritance reasons, but he transfered stock in the company to his children every year from the time they were born.

If you transfer $100,000 to kids within 5 years of applying for Medicaid, then you're disqualified

It's pretty easy to fake it if you try. Lots of ways to lose money or move it. And a ton of people od it.
