No, I'm not talking about "on the dime". 10% off, or maybe more would still be "right". But they have just about always been very far off in their estimates of such programs.

I posted details about this in the past, but I don't have them in front of me now, but I believe the early Medicare (or perhaps it was Medicaid) estimates where off by 10x or more.

Medicare Part D, was much closer (and wrong in the other direction) but it was still much further away than just not being "on the dime".

Listen do you have a better way to score a bill?
