Good one:) Maybe we can get "release" by starting to watch "American Idol", that is we get the "release" of becoming one of the Pod People, best represented in the Original "The Invasion of The Body Snatchers"
This the classic end, from Deadly Kiss to "YOUR NEXT!!!!"

Important HISTORICAL note the director's orginal movie ended at exactly 4:13 on this u-tube video, but his Hollywood bosses , with the power they had over the director forced the Director to surrender The Bosses DOCTORING the ending as they thought the actual ending was unsettling and would cause anxiety, so they demanded the their end, with a nice resolvement be added as to NOT disturb the public.
So know when Kevin McCarthy face turns and LOOKS at the theatre audience and shouts "Your Next!!!!", the movie then simply had " The End" on a black screen.
A book of Movie history i have states the original ending as being "one of greatest endings in the history of film, too bad the studio insisted on attaching a lame boookend framing device and voice over to diffuse the actual POWERFUL ENDING".
So when one watches this one can actually perceive the CLUMSY hands of hollywood slamming their foot down on Don Siegel's great direction. i want everybody to know the print people see is NOT the orinal end---the last 2:30 plus minutes be a GROSS TAMPERING with art, on the premise "We must not disturb the public with disturbing endings".

p.s. It has always disturbed me that Apple(surely Jobs decision) chose the name iPod.
