mph, I agree I think we were saying the same thing, only you stated it more clearly. < AK, I think(don't really know yet, but I am working on it), this whole restating earnings is Walt's idea. He is very very conservative. I "think" he came in and said hey the shit has hit the fan by missing a design cycle, now is the time to change your accounting method and get all the "stuff" out. This way we can rebuilt for 1998.> <Don't you think it's more likely that Walt discovered the problem, most likely caused by the co. being rudderless from a CFO standpoint for so long, and that he urged prompt corrective action once he found out. The press releases have not suggested that S3 was changing its accounting method, but rather that an error had been made in complying with that accounting method. Consequently, Walt could not really suggest a "change" in accounting method.> When I said "change" I didn't mean new system rather change to the way it was suppose to be being reported. Thanks for the clearing that up.
