Yes, because this is fraud, too. When someone is able to get health insurance without taking a physical, i.e. just by filling out an application, they had better fill it out truthfully or they can be dropped. The rules on this are right there in the policy.

At any rate, I've just had the feeling that this has been overstated. Along with that is the fact that I've never heard anyone around me, through the years, complain about their insurance company trying to do this.
