i hate to tell you knighty, but that is laudable compared to all the other lemmings, like us, that ate the banker losses.

i agree it isn't ideal, but it is better than anyone else has done - so it is an A+ graded on a curve.

as for harvard economic theories, they sure do enrich the harvard (and other - including wharton) elites and protect them from eating their own trillions in losses, even if at the expense and demise of everyone else. i know that couldn't be the purpose... it just randomly happened that way.

or could it be the purpose all along?
