I guess that interview on TV is why the stock is up. But Donville did not say or think anything new. As I understand it Murray Edwards had some convertible debentures which got converted. Not quite the same as an open market purchase. Since he has funded Imp from the beginning it is no great surprise, and does not necessarily indicate anything new about Red Chris. (I thought it was funny that Donville had to struggle to remember the mine name--I do too, every time.)

It will be interesting to see how much they earned in Q4. I got the sense that earnings in 09 are down because the two operating mines are being depleted and they have been working less productive zones. At the prices we bought in at it did not matter so much but if the new normal is .70 pa for earnings, then I think $15 based on operating earnings alone is a bit high. Of course Red Chris does look good, the question is, how good. I wonder what it will cost to get it operating, and to what extent the shares will be diluted.

Hoping Donville is right of course..$50 a share!
