Last I checked the will of the American people was the primary responsibility of our elected leaders.. not that of a bunch of statists. You're right...the constituency that elected this man is overwhelmingly in favor of passage. Your side lost the election...thank your republican politicians for the last 8 years of drunk and disorderly behavior. If in 2010 your side wins the day, then they'll be doing the will of those who put them into office. They sure as hell wont be doing the will of democrats who voted against them. A representative democracy...it's how it works...wonderful thing ain't it?
