"The only thing wrong with McCain is that he figured this out way too late."

You've got to be kidding. When did the Republicans cooperate at all? They have set records for filibusters. They have stonewalled and obstructed at every turn. They are doing their best to obstruct the vote on reconciliation with their attempts to weigh it down with silly amendments. Some have even called for armed insurrection.

"Liberals should not complain about this polarized political environment that they themselves helped to create."

How so?

"My way or the highway."

Tenchu, that is exactly how it was during the Bush administration. Their idea of cooperation was to do whatever they wanted to, using obscure rules and twisting the intent of them, and if any Democrat were to complain, accuse them of treason and 'being against the troops' or in league with the terrorists.

Ted, > McCain said, "There will be no cooperation for the rest of the year."

The only thing wrong with McCain is that he figured this out way too late.

When the Democrats got their supermajority, they plunged ahead with their partisan agenda. To expect the GOP to just go along with this massive expansion of government is arrogant of the Dems.

Higher self, Ten.....please.
