Step back a little bit and take a good look at Intel, AMD and Cyrix.

In order to save $5, Intel decided to eliminate L2 cache on SLOT 1 card for sub-$1,000 PC market even the PII performance would be significantly degraded. Intel is facing its death since it lacks the neccessary technology to compete with its ever (technology) growing competitors.

In the mean time, AMD plans to enlarge L1 cache and integrate L2 cache directly into the MPU to furtherly enhance K6 family performance to outrun Intel's best.

These are trends, my friend. You know which one is going to lose big time.

To Brian, Petz, et al: I think that the "TCM" and "PriceWatch"
approach data interpretation is UTTER NONESENSE. PE
and all of his proper good intentions not withstanding.

BTW the stock is still acting relatively well.
