Wow KLP - that is fatalistic! I think it is far far more important to focus all energies on the fall elections. I intend to work for the Rob Portman campaign here in Ohio.

Could always buy them an SI membership. We've all written a lot here. <g> But seriously you're right that making a record for our descendants is a good thing. Life is changing fast and more quickly all the time. An older gentleman was a teacher of mine in 9th grade and he told the class about the first time he saw a car. It made an impression on me and our experiences will recede with even more haste. :)
