I would enjoy and possibly benefit from your thoughts about the relationship between the strengthening dollar ( vs. the Euro) and gold and silver.

I would like to suggest for discussion that all paper money will continue to lose value to gold and silver, regardless of the fiat currency's relationship to one another.

Am I going to be wrong? To tell you where I am on the subject, I drove to my local dealer today and bought more silver, even in the face of the dollar strength and knowing that the fed. gov. will possibly be enjoying three years of premium inflow before they have to honor any claims. ( or is that not true ).

Somehow, I think that the dollar will have to suffer dilution in order to make all our desires come true. And that is fine with me, as long as I am hedged.

I hope I am doing the right thing. So far, metals have worked as a good hedge against the dollar, and I am of the opinion that this latest dollar spike is just another of the several upturns that will make yet another lower high.

Disagreements welcomed and encouraged. Thanks.
