rich, how any worthless seconds are being held by fannie and freddie now that accounting fraud has been legalized? i think you are wrong - these $500k loans won't recover as homes go to $200k (or lower) and people walk away en masse. unemployment is rising and wages are falling. i also disagree this is the only solution. it most certainly was not. this "solution" was evil to its core and foisted upon the american people by greedy bankers controlling government. there are other solutions. given the current reality, this is the best solution i've found to date: swarmusa.com
