Any bets on whether Californians pass this into law?

I hope they do. Better just to pass a state law legalizing it and turning the supervision of sales over to their Liquor Board to tax it. Then let the Feds decide what they want to do.

At present in California, if you have a license to sell it for medicine, and you keep it quiet, the Feds will leave you alone. Get chesty about it, and they will bust your butt.

California is going to have a new issue on the ballot this November - legalizing marijuana for recreational use.

I hope they hurry up and legalize it. The entire state is going to need a huge spliff when the weenies up in Sacramento try putting a bandaid on Californias' fiscal problems....
