Read LindyBill's thread here on SI, one of the best I've come across. In depth analyses of a wide variety of foods, vitamin supplements, etc. Danger of fructose is stressed among other things.

"That's all I've got. Think I can get $6.95 a copy if I fill it out with excessive personal stories and life experiences?"

Yes. I've told my wife several times I was going to publish the James Hutton diet. Little meat, Little Debbies for breakfast (that'll pull the religious types in as Little Debbies were created and still, I believe, run by the Seventh Day Adventists), and basically nibble on junk most of the rest of the day. I'll put the stuff about exercise in fine print at the end of the index, since no one wants to be told they should exercise. I'm going to go on Oprah, cry about how heavy I was (I really wasn't), put a picture on the inside flap of me with a couple of chocolate lab puppies, and make a fortune.

You can too. It's the American way.

I'm a struggling new Vegan myself. Not for the cancer reason, although that's a good one, but because I'm a diabetic. A Vegan diet is GREAT for diabetics.

I say struggling, because I just nuked a couple of hotdogs..
