AS you know, he was speaking in front of the CFTC, and for some history on that Department, it would be worth watching the Frontline special on Brooksley Borne's attempt to head off the housing crash .. with no luck...

If she could not get results, I doubt that Bill Murphy will have much luck changing anything.. he was like a guy in a leaky canoe with a toy gun trying to take on a battleship.

This production is well worth your time watching if you missed it when it came out.

Possible that he was given just a short amount of time to present his information. I thought that he was darn good and that as the moderator said, his information was "more specific than anticipated". How is the CFTC going to sweep such proven allegations made last November under the rug? Then again, that has been the raison d'etre of such "regulatory" agencies. <ng>
