But why do you consider these consumer protection measures to be bad? I like knowing what's in the food I eat...i don't want to consume too much fat or salt or other harmful stuff. You should be concerned with the huge amounts of money we spend as a society caring for people with preventable diseases, yes? I dont consider the info bad. I do not want my government to be my parental guidance protection bureau. And I dont want the government involved in businesses to that level. I like the way you take common sense concepts and tie them to your nanny state desires. Everybody wants to prevent disease. Having the government involved prevents that how ? You seek utopia with government as the vehicle. Wealth creation comes from individuals who desire to better themselves and those within their sphere of influence. The government only creates debt and deficits. Tax the corporations and small businesses to the point we are at now and watch us, as a nation, go over the cliff. Government is the only sector growing under BO. Engineers/Mathematicians... same left side of the brain being utilized ;>}..
