Ted, let's get back to your original assertion:

Doctors really don't make that much money off of drugs. Most doctors I know take their ethical obligations VERY seriously. Some don't, of course, but those are the exceptions.

Now I don't know jack about BM, but I can understand why doctors in America are reluctant to officially recommend holistic treatments. It's not because of Big Pharma, I can guarantee you. If anything, it's because of the fear of malpractice.
