Actually, I first made that comment when George W. Bush's Army bombed a wedding party in Iraq. In an area where insurgents were operating, idiots at a wedding were shooting AKs into the air and one of our gun ships took them out. Though I thoroughly believe you should investigate before firing, somebody shooting guns near where you are flying is pretty good evidence of hostile activity. You wouldn't think they'd be stupid enough to do that at a wedding reception. Which they were.
