I live in a very liberal area and that is what I'm hearing from people I consider centrist. Well educated, thoughtful people.

Tea party is a bunch of racist rednecks with bad manners. Bought it hook, line and sinker.

I went to lunch with a lib friend the other day. The only politics that found its way into the conversation was initiated by her. She asked me where civility had gone? All those people spitting on congressmen and the racial slurs. I refused the bait.........it was a birthday lunch after all.... and she had to drop it.

That very evening, someone shot a bullet through Congressman Cantor's campaign office window.
