So you are in favor of socialized medicine, in this case having big brother Aetna telling your doctor what to prescribe for you?
They are also lying to their customers...here's what it say on the very first page of my Prescription Benefits booklet:

" WHAT'S COVERED
With your plan, your prescrip's are generally covered as long as they are medically necessary. This means you can choose meds from Aetna's Preferred Drug List. You can also choose drugs not on it. It's up to you and your doctor. Aetna's lists include brand-name and generic drugs. Keep in mind that you and your doctor are ultimately responsible for making decisions about your drug therapy
