I just got off the phone with my dad and was dismayed by his repetition of the GOP rhetoric. Every other word is socialism and communism. Don't ask me what is wrong with them all. It's like they've all undergone a collective lobotomy. I don't know about your dad, but it seems as though most of these people are really shallow and embrace soundbites as doctrine without questioning the material nor the sources...and when things are not going well in the country bitterness and cynicism take hold and rot from within. It's troubling. Al
