Ten I watch almost no mainstream TV -- the only shows outside the history channel I watch routinely are The First 48 and 24. Honestly, I'm not sure why I started watching 24 but I do think it is fun. My wife watches NCIS which has incorporated a lot of the same stuff. I'm particularly amused at the ease with which they can monitor any video camera in the country, pull up canceled checks from any bank or credit card account, and access essentially any database in existence. There are no limits. And the ability to see right through walls in buildings is very cool. I think I could write for one of these shows. It would be pretty much like writing the plots for cartoons, I think.
