Let's consider the following ....

God, or Jehovah, or Allah, or by whatever name one wishes to give to the Creator, has given ALL who are born into this world FREE WILL.

Now why would God, or Jehova, or Allah, who is considered infinite in ALL things, want to impose His/Her WILL on any of us when He/She has deemed it fit to give us FREE WILL, to do as we want, with the obvious proviso that we must ALL carry the burden of the repercussions of our actions, as well as to benefit from the experiences of those actions ?

You cannot, on the one hand, give FREE WILL, and then, on the other hand, do anything to restrict or influence that FREE WILL.

In much the same vein, why would God, or Jehova, or Allah favour one group of His/Her creations above another group of His/Her creations and expect one group to “conquer” another in His/Her name ?

Another startling difference:

Christians see the image of Christ everywhere. The Shroud of Turin is believe by some to LITERALLY be the image of Jesus and people are mesmerized by it.

Muslims may go so far as to kill someone who tries to produce an image of Mohammad.

I wonder what would happen if someone put a potato chip that looked like Mohammad on EBAY?

Doesn't sound like the same message to me. At all.

Didn't say the message was the same. I said the Koran was based on the Bible and the stories similar.
