The day before the vote, I wrote to Anna Eschoo, my representative, and asked her to vote no on the bill.

Two days after the election, I received a "form letter" response which explained all the "good things" about the bill.

I decided not to waste my energy writing again to ask her why, if she thought it was so wonderful, was she, her family and all of congress, exempted from it.

GZ, we should not just wait until november. we should work at recalling the ones in the states that have recall and work to get recall provisions in all the states that don't yet have them.

i think a 'recall' is really powerful whenever used. i'd love to see the look on their faces when their secretaries tell them.. "they're starting a recall petition against you"..

nothing gets them listening like a recall. remember when grey davis was recalled in california?

What is there not to like about 10% official unemployment, wasted trillions of dollars, quadrupled insurance premiums, and taxes out the ying yang, and a bond bubble that is on the verge of destroying this country completely in exchange for "helping" losers?
