Bob, I sometimes think that if the worse that happens to the US is that we wind up like Canada it would not be too bad. Correct.. and there go a lot of your social ills :O) I am sure I would meet a bunch of Canadians there I completely agree.. and if I need an MRI yesterday .. I would be in Buffalo.. so I crack up or roll my eyes @ folks up here that complain too much about our health care.. No different than in the US if you got the dough.. you got the fast care.. A lot of those visitors just do not want to wait.. and as I said I could be one.. so I have a choice ... but a lot more that don't have the dough also have the care.. and do not suffer from accidents of genetics... and those problems are not universal across services... Also BTW... say I wanted a heart scan for example.. I can book one in Montreal and get served within a few days without a crisis.. lots of private clinics for various things... My mom, who lives in Montreal just did something similar... Can we with our numbers be Canada Relates back to your social ills.. The last 5-10 years should be very instructive I'd say.. Of course you can... but as long as your politicians cater too much to big business (owning politicians) etc.. yeah it won't work.. but it's choices... not karma.. Your 'social ills' statement is very instructive IMO.. Also here is a list of delisted procedures in Ontario.. Folks got tired of paying for implants for example cvh.on.ca :O) regards B
